  I am sending this Email a very UNHAPPY one at that, about the SCOTIA BANK tellers not being open not even for a couple of hours on a Saturday. I was shocked to find this out today. I DO BELIEVE you are the ONLY bank in Spruce Grove that does not have at least the tellers open on Saturday.

  I have called and talked with someone at your branch more than once and it has never been a good call, I am not sure it would ever be a good call. Whatever the case my mind is made up, I will be taking my accounts out of this Horrible bank and opening an account in a bank that will treat me with respect.

  right I tried to phone the bank Friday September 18/2015 around 10:30pm but the reply I got was "sorry our banking lines are closed please call back on whatever hours they said. At this point I was just done with this bank.

  I will not recommend this bank to anyone that I know and if asked will tell people my opinion of the Scotia bank.

  The part that I am REALLY, REALLY Irate about is that my debit card is not working in any of the store machine or the bank machines to withdraw any money. Here it is the weekend I have things that NEED to be done but I can not do them because I HAVE MONEY in the bank but just can't use it.

  I have had it with this bank, have had so many problems with the on-line visa banking then you call them and they just lie to you saying the phones are open 24 hours 7 days per week..........LMAO

  Now not being open at least on Saturdays especially for a problem like this is just not ACCEPTABLE to me. Leaving me with no access to cash for the entire weekend. Yes i just got paid Thursday September 17,2015 so I do have money in the bank, isn't that I don't have the funds "I do".

  Today I went into the branch, with a request for help, the help I needed involved a staff member to review footage of their security cameras from Saturday the 2nd. I can’t get into the details of what happened or what I was asking of them. But I can tell you that the manager on duty today the 5th of Decision, was very attentive and heard me out. This could have gone a few ways and to be honest I wasn’t sure if they would be willing to go that extra mile and help me out. I was told it would take approx 2-3 days to review the footage and to get back to me. In less than 2 hours I received a phone call from the bank. They explained that the footage was reviewed and that they were able to see what I was referring to. Without details I know this doesn’t make much sense. The point I want made is that I went with a problem and needed assistance, I was met with understanding and my problem was completely resolved . I thank the two employees that helped me out today and went the extra mile to make my concern feel validated. It was really good of them to help and it is extremely appreciated. Thank you

  Avoid Traci at all cost! She is one of the financial advisors at this branch. She is very rude and unprofessional (we have emails to back this up) she has made our lives very difficult these past 3 months and have proved she does not care about her clients at all. I will never trust Scotiabank with my money again.On her doing we have switched all of our banking to ATB(mortgage, loans, cards, etc) because they were a lot easier and friendlier to do with. They accomplished in one week what Traci couldn't do in 3 months.

  If I could give it no stars at all, I would. The customer service was horrendous and reflects badly on the bank. I was wishing to open some accounts there but was instead met with hostility. One of the tellers talked to me as if I couldn't understand what she was saying in a very condescending tone and tried to explain that 'the documents have to come all the way from Torooooontooooo' as if she couldn't have just opened an account with me right then and there. Wish I had grabbed her name. I am very displeased.
